This short film profiles citizen Elizabeth Carter, founder of the Tri-State Promoters, a group that buys abandoned houses a street in Ohio and turns them into houses offering free clothing, food, refuge for homeless and music lessons to the needy. Mrs. Carter has been featured on Oprah. The idea for this film originated from the book 50 Ways to Help your Community written by Sharon Sloan Fiffer and Steven Fiffer.
